The Assistant Parts Manager will assist customers in purchasing needed parts and accessories. In addition, they will support dealership technicians by acquiring and supplying them with parts needed for repairs. This front-facing position will find the individual in constant contact with our valued customers and will represent high quality service in all aspects of parts transactions.

This position requires the skill set of a strong coordinator who can provide process-driven results. Along with a high attention to detail, solid phone etiquette, and superb interpersonal skills, the Assistant Parts Manager will showcase great aptitude while performing the responsibilities listed below.

-Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner.
-Assist customers with parts and accessory quotes, purchases, special orders, and returns.
-Supply technicians with necessary parts and accessories for repairs.
-Assist with inventory, receiving, stocking and shipping.
-Ensure accurate inventory and orderly parts storage.
-Communicate clearly with Service and Sales departments to fulfill their parts needs.
-Collect payments when required and ensure billing is accurate.
-Refer to parts manuals to identify the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.
-Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of Parts Department.
-Notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need attention.
-Deliver parts when needed.
-File paperwork as needed.
-Other duties as assigned.

-Working experience in Automotive Parts Sales or Automotive Repair
-High School Education or GED
-Must be willing to expand knowledge of Ford parts and accessories via manuals and online modules.
-High attention to detail with sharp basic math skills
-Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to get to/from work.
-Must be proficient on computer, including typing ability.
-Excellent customer service skills.
-Must be comfortable speaking on the phone.
-Common knowledge of vehicles.
