The Driver is a part-time, flexible dealership position suited for a motivated and safety-minded individual who is looking to work in the automotive industry. This position involves picking-up and delivering cars, swapping vehicles with other dealers, delivering parts and equipment through the region, and providing transport to our wonderful customers. Automotive Driver Responsibilities:
The Driver will complete the following activities while operating all vehicles with maximum safety and obeying all traffic laws:
- Provide Pickup / Delivery services for customer vehicles on behalf of the Service DepartmentÂ
- Perform pre-arranged dealer trades: Transport vehicles from Oneonta Ford to other dealerships throughout the region
- Complete other delivery activities as needed for (Service, Parts, & Sales Departments)
- Provide occasional courtesy transport to customers
- Relocate vehicles on dealership lot as requested
- Assist with snow removal and cleanup during winter months
- Assist customers as needed, communicating in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices
- Other responsibilities as required Dealership Management
Automotive Driver Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to get to/from work
- Maintains a professional appearanceÂ
- Strong communication skills (listening and speaking) with a friendly personality
- A positive attitude with a growth mindset
- Common knowledge of vehicles
- Previous Driver experience preferred

We are searching for a motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Service Advisor to join our growing team and assist our busy Service Department.
This position requires the skill set of a strong coordinator who can provide process-driven results. Along with a high attention to detail, solid phone etiquette, and superb interpersonal skills, the Service Advisor will showcase great aptitude while performing the responsibilities listed below.
Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Schedule appointments, service work and sell additional service to customers as needed.
- Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of mechanical problems while obtaining customer and vehicle data.
- Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles. If additional work is needed, a Service Advisor will explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time considerations.
- Contact customers by telephone regarding any changes in the estimate or time promised.
- Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments.
- Maintain excellent Customer Experience Survey Ratings
- Filing paperwork
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices
- Other responsibilities as required Dealership Management
Requirements:
- High School Education or GED
- Reliable transportation to get to/from work
- Must be proficient on computer, including typing ability
- Excellent customer service skills, must be comfortable speaking on the phone
- Strong communication skills (listening and speaking) with a friendly personality
- A positive attitude with a growth mindset
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Common knowledge of vehicles
